Handicappers are online and posting!
The anchor of Freescoreboard.com is Godspicks, which is where my handicapping expertise is found. Last year I was a guest many times on the Rick Ballou Show on Sportingnews Radio. Whether it is debating the US government insisting on playing Big Brother to sports investors or whether it is discussing the pros and cons of the NFL’s instant replay or preview upcoming sporting events, I will be happy to participate. In previewing upcoming action, we can discuss the importance of preseason football to the sports investor or how college football’s endless bowl season has a lot of people thinking that is too short.
But the bowls are far from the only thing that we can inform your listeners about during December. We can make sure they don’t have the highly incorrect beliefs on motivational factors in the NFL or more specifically how it applies to the gambler. We can also chat about why marquee games can really be the bookmaker’s bailout games.
We can also simply discuss how I am in an industry with too many “roughs” among the “diamonds” but how the buying public can have a false sense of security about honesty in this line of work.
We can certainly talk about how the Internet and modern technology has given the gambler the advantage or how such techniques as money management and line shopping are also of enormous importance. I can be interviewed on how to avoid the traps that suckers fall into. In fact, we use the sucker play to our advantage. But we also use the oddsmaker’s knowledge against them.
We exploit some widely held clichés in going against the grain. We know many methods for example in getting incredible information from hometown newspapers.
We will also be happy to give an expert view during March Madness or how even smart baseball players ignore the very basics of math when handicapping.
